Mad World
Hey guys! After reading our first text A Purpose in Pain, we discussed the main idea and the message of it. Here I found two versions of a classic: Mad World. I want you to watch it, understand the lyrics and tell me your opinion about it: What is it about? What's the message of this song? What's the relation between the reading passage and this song? stereotypes such as money ,cars jewerly and things that not have important, in summary.people
forget your family by job or other task . finally in my opinion we have to change the way to see
the family.
I agree with you, Luis. I also think running in circles mean following the same routines once and again; doing the things that we are supposed to do according to society.
DeleteI think that the song is about people's behaviors and fears. The singer is hopeless and he thinks that you have to get away of this "mad world". The message of this song is that society tells you how to behave and you must ignore them in order to find a way to safe your personality and thoughts. DeleteHello teacher, well in my opinion I think that the song wants to say us that there are many people who suffer even when they have a good health and overestimating materials things and thoughts, so the song is connected to the paragraph recounting that the world is turning arround the complex and the social stigmatization. It's a pity for me to imagin that now in our centuries people continue discriminating and thinking in excluding the others for any reason likewise illness or disability. Joyce Morales.

DeleteHello Teacher, I think that the video is about how people feel in a "Mad World". First, The video shows how a crazy world can affect you not only in your thoughts also in your feelings. Second, In this world you can find a lot of obstacles, but It depends of you if you want to overcome these barriers. Finally, My classmates and me read about a passage whose name is "A Purpose In Pain".This passage was about how God has an important role for each person,so It means that We are in a mad world, we have our obstacles, our problems, our sadness, but we have to live through these issues. To Summarize, If the world spites in your faces, It does not matter because If you are determined, you can pass your sadnees and also be happy.

DeleteI think the song refers how people walk in circles, looking and hearing the same always. These episodes impede that people know there is a possible world, new ideas and beliefs.
ReplyDeleteThe author through his song "Mad World" wants to criticize the society where is imposed a line of thought that avoid citizens think by themselves. However, people want a change in spite of their inertia and apathy.
The relation between the passage and the song is that sometimes we think we're different and we must be as people want and not as the way we want. God is the unique who knows our purpose and despite our limitations he'll help us to overcome every dificulty but also we need to trust ourselves. Kathia Zuñiga.

People do the same thing everyday, as see the same people in the same places without happiness or satisfaction to achieve more in their life, but their society impede people to express their emotions because probably they wouldn't fit into the society and the only option is to adapt to it. We have to break the barriers between the society and ourselves, because all are human being, and we must value the life and the people around us in spite of social classes. People have to think for themselves without thinking what is going to tell the society.

DeleteIn my opinion the song has a lot of truths, we are living in a perverse world where unfortunately the most affected are the children,It is increible how the society and the peolple that are around of them can influence in their growth. I think that nowadays each people live in their own world, they do not think in no one only in them,There should not social classes. For God all of us are the same, but the people do no understand that.
ReplyDeletePersonally the passage called A Purpose In Pain is very beautiful, it shows us that no one has teh right to remove a life. Each person has something unique and different If we want to change at least a moment of the other person we can do it, and I am sure that God will be happy and because one of things why he arrived was for us to love others as we love fron the beginning.

DeleteI think that the message of this song is to tell us how some people look the world and it explain how some children can have a sad life because they don't receive the neccesary attention that the hould have even they try to have it, and when the song says"Children waiting for the day they feel good. Happy Birthday Happy Birthday" it refers that in their birthday is the only moment when they receive a little attention. Also it expresses that some children look the death like a better thing than their life. Personally, I think that is a song which expresses the sadness that some children live. Jeleni Triviño
ReplyDeleteFor me the relation between the song and the passage is that both the man of the text and the child of the song are not included and they are discriminated. They are not receiving attention so they feel sad and they just need someone who can understand them. they are looking for the day when thay can receive love and can understand the porpose for why they are here. They just need a hug to feel that they are important and special because the don't look the sense of their life.

Nowadays, we prefer the money, the jewerlys, cars and more and we don't see the reality the wars,poverty, kids in the street.
We live in a world tah the money is mos important than the love.
The relationship between the text and the song is the little boy has a issue however, he shows love to a poor man. He had a great heart , he didn't matter his apparence.

DeleteI think the song is about the fears and concerns of the people. It is very important to move forward and continue with our lives as it is very nice and we have to enjoy it to the fullest. The message of this song is that some people tell you what you have to do or how to act but you must ignore them and be clear about your ideas or thoughts. DeleteIn my opinion, the song refers to children that their parents don't pay attention. Nowadays parents are more concentrated in their jobs than their sons. Families are in the same routine. They don't talk each other, don't do things together. For these reason teenagers or children get feel bad or sad.

Well , I think that the song show us how in schools even our society teach that you can only catch the happiness if you buy luxury things like a nice car or have a very good job and for this reason people forget important things like family and they pass away the feelings which it can improve our lifes and souls.

Well, In my opinion the singer wanted to describe the real world. Many peolpe are crazy for their actions. On the other hand some people think that it is better to be dead than live in crazy world where people do evil things up with family but, we should not do this kind of thing we ought to live our lifes and be happy. We must think positive. Following this things we can improve our lifes.

THe message of the song is that children are the future of the world, and they are the ones who will change it. They realize about everything that happens all around them, they know the good and the worst, they know how adults become so monotone with their lives and see how unhappy they are with that type of life. That's why it said "mad world" there are a lot of people so unhappy, that just live their life with no energy or purpose, they don't embrace the life they have got.
